Facial Aesthetic Cosmetic Enhancement Acupuncture Welcome Pack

What is it?

Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture is a form of treatment that involves inserting very fine needles (finer than the hairs on your head) through a person's skin in order to help rebuild your skin's collagen. This visibly reduces lines and wrinkles plus leaving your face feeling and looking healthier.

Each treatment plan is tailor made to the individual and it is up to you on the areas we target.

How does it work?

The needles are inserted into the dermis, allowing a change in the muscular blood flow locally. Positive microtrauma occurs which, in turn, results in a self-repairing of the skin. Through this process greater nutrients and oxygen levels are able to be delivered. This is similar to creating microtears when strengthening muscles during exercise. Allowing for greater production of elastin and collagen which rejuvenates the skin. It also triggers an increased hydration level and elasticity of the skin, enhancing the volume of natural oil production; achieved through greater microcirculation.

Benefits?

This process treats, prevents and future-proofs your skin from the inner layers outwards. (Anti-ageing) Over time, there is a greater production of elastin and collagen in the skin- leading to healthier, younger looking skin and a rejuvenated appearance.
